One man taken to hospital after lorry crashes on A68
Emergency services were called to the scene around 6.20am.
The road was closed and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
Arrangements are being made to recover the vehicle and the road remains closed.
It is understood that some repair work will need to be completed before the road can reopen safely.
No estimation has been provided as to when that will be.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of an overturned lorry on the A68 at Bonjedward near Jedburgh around 6.20am on Wednesday, 4 October.
“One man has been taken to hospital for treatment. Recovery is being arranged for the vehicle and the road is currently closed.”
