New witness appeal after man dies in A2 three-vehicle crash
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a three-vehicle crash between Canterbury[1] and Dover. The driver of a Vauxhall Corsa died at the scene of the collision near Barham.
Officers were[2] called to the A2 at around 6.40am on Wednesday, October 18. It was reported that a blue BMW 3 Series was joining the A2 via the slip road when it was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a white DAF lorry.
The road was closed for more than six hours after the collision. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are continuing their enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the incident.
Anyone with dashcam footage taken in the area around the time is also being urged to come forward. Witnesses should call the SCIU appeal line on 01622 798538 quoting reference HW/HM/113/23.
