Motorcyclist dies in serious B4081 crash near Chipping Campden

A man has died following a two-vehicle collision near Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds this morning (Sunday, October 29). Emergency services responded to a report of a serious crash between a KTM 390 Duke motorcycle and a black Toyota Yaris on the B4081 Campden Road before 10am.[1]

Members of the public stopped to help at the scene between Mickleton and Chipping Campden as emergency services quickly responded to the serious crash. The motorcyclist, aged in his 80s and from Worcestershire, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital to be checked over. Road closures have been in place for several hours to allow an investigation into the fatal crash to take place. Gloucestershire Constabulary said these road closures are expected to remain until this evening.
