The Minstermen are back on their travels this Tuesday 24th October when we travel to the SMH Group Stadium, home of Chesterfield, in the Vanarama National League (7.45pm kick off.)
The fixture comes following City’s 3-1 defeat away at the weekend against Eastleigh at Silverlake Stadium.
Hosts Chesterfield currently sit top of the Vanarama National League on goal difference after 15 games played, with Paul Cook’s side registering 12 wins and two draws so far this campaign.
The Spireites have five different goal scorers all notching five so far this season, with Ryan Colclough, Will Grigg, Liam Mandeville, Tom Naylor and Joe Quigley sharing the goals amongst the side.
Please note that all fixtures between Monday 23 and Wednesday 25 October will see clubs observe a minute’s silence and wear black armbands following the death of Sir Bobby Charlton.

Pay on the night is in operation for the evening, with a £2 increase at the Ticket Office or over the telephone for collection.
There is a £2 additional fee for any tickets printed at the stadium too.

- Concessions (Over 65s) – £18.00 (£20.00)
- Age 17-21 – £16.00 (£18.00)
- Under 16s – £9.00 (£11.00)

Car Parking: There is no on-site parking provided by Chesterfield.
Please be considerate to Chesterfield’s neighbours when parking for the evening.
Disabled supporters can buy car parking bays at the SMH Group Stadium by phoning during the week before the match, spaces cost £7 each (subject to availability) and can be reserved by contacting Karen Wood on 01246 269300.
Chesterfield state that supporters should avoid parking on:
Lockford Lane, James Street, Holme Road, William Street, Sanforth Street, Nelson Street, Grove Road, Pottery Lane (residential section), King Street North, Shaw Street, Park Lane, Ormsby Road, Ludham Close and Ludham Gardens, Greenside Avenue, Glenfield Crescent & Thorndene Close.
Train: We advise supporters to utilise ticket booking offices for the best guidance surrounding rail travel for this fixture, as there are several possible routes which could be taken. Select direct services are in operation by CrossCountry.

Supporters Bus: York Pullman[2] ARE running a supporters bus for the fixture.
Priced at £20, the bus will depart from Memorial Gardens in York City Centre at 4.30pm, with Acomb collection 15 minutes later.
