Man dies after being hit by lorry in early hours on A180 Immingham

Officers are appealing for information after a man sustained fatal injuries in a collision on the A180, Immingham in the early hours of Monday.

The crash was near to the junction at Stallingborough, in the early hours of October 23.

Officers from Humberside Police were called at around 2.30am to reports that a lorry and pedestrian were involved in a collision.

Emergency services attended however a 35-year-old man sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene, police confirmed.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers.

In a statement, the force said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has any information or dashcam footage, or saw the vehicle prior to the collision, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 32 of 23 October.”
