Major West Lothian Road blocked following collision during rush hour

A major road in West Lothian has been blocked following a collision on Wednesday morning.

At around 7am on October 25, a junction at the M8 in Bathgate was closed after an RTC while many drivers make their morning commute.

Those driving through West Lothian have been warned to take care as they approach junction four eastbound as lane two has been blocked off.

Taking to social media, Traffic Scotland warned drivers: “7am #M8 RTC Junction 4 (Bathgate) Eastbound. Lane 2 Blocked #ApproachWithCare.”

It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
