M6, M53, M56 and M58 motorway closures starting October 2
The M6, M53, M56, and M58 will close over the coming week.
The motorways, which run through Merseyside, will see closures this week as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. This week there are no weekend closures according to the National Highways journey planning tool including the M6 and M57.
Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week.
This list is subject to changes from National Highways.
Monday, October 2
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions three and five will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions two and four as well as nine and 12 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 14 and 15 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Tuesday, October 3
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions three and five will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions three and four as well as nine and 10 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 14 and 15 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Wednesday, October 4
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions four and five will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions three and five as well as nine and 10 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 12 and 15 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 and 14 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
Thursday, October 5
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions four and seven will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four and five as well as nine and 10 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 12 and 14 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M58 eastbound between junctions one and three will be closed between 23.59pm and 5am.
The M58 westbound between junctions one and three will be closed between 23.59pm and 5am.
Friday, October 6
The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 22 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound between junctions nine and 10 will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 12 and 14 will be closed between 10pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 and 14 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M58 eastbound between junctions one and three will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M58 westbound between junctions one and three will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
