A collision involving three vehicles has led to miles of traffic on the M25 today (October 25). It is unknown if there were any casualties or fatalities following the crash, which involved a van and two lorries.
Three anticlockwise lanes are now closed after the incident, which was reported at 8.20am and has resulted in the closure of three out of four lanes. There is reportedly now queueing traffic for three miles.
There are now delays from Junction 30 A13 near Purfleet to Junction 29 A127 near Basildon. Three lanes are closed and only lane four remains open.
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: “Three lanes closed on M25 anticlockwise due to accident from J30 A13 (Lakeside / Purfleet) to J29 A127 (Romford / Basildon). Accident, a van and two lorries involved.”
