Full list of road closures and areas still affected by flooding

Storm Babet[1] caused widespread disruption across Lincolnshire as heavy rainfall[2] led to flooding in many areas of the county. Although the situation is improving with the rain easing, water levels remain high in some places and 21 flood warnings are still active.

Many roads[3] in the county were flooded as a result of Storm Babet, and as of Wednesday, October 25, there are still 36 road closures in place. On Tuesday evening, the Environment Agency stated: “River levels remain high following rainfall associated with Storm Babet, and further rainfall throughout Tuesday 24th October.

“Catchments are expected to react and river levels to remain high throughout the night and into Wednesday 25th October. Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
