Busy Basildon road to shut for 26 nights and 8 other south Essex …

East Mayne will be temporarily shut from both of its junctions with Broadmayne Roundabout to both of its junction with Felmores Roundabout from October 23 for 26 nights. The closures will be in place from 7pm to 5am.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting and road marking works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via East Mayne, East Mayne Roundabout Junction Cranes Farm Road, Cranes Farm Road, Cranes Lane Roundabout, Cranes Farm Road Roundabout, Chester Hall Lane Roundabout, Upper Mayne, Broadmayne Roundabout, Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout and vice versa.

Part of the A127 in Basildon will be closed for three nights this month.

The length of A127 at Dunton/Pipps Hill from a point where the off slip road from A127 to West Mayne Eastbound is, to where the on slip road from West Mayne to A127 Eastbound is will be shut for a distance of 3950m (Eastbound Only).

The on slip road from West Mayne to A127 Eastbound will also shut from its junction with West Mayne Roundabout to A127 a distance of 335m.

The closures are scheduled to start on October 23 and will be in place from 9pm to 5am while carriageway repair works are undertaken by the county council.

An alternative route is available via Southend[1] Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To West Mayne Eastbound, West Mayne Roundabout, West Mayne, Southfield Roundabout, High Road Roundabout, St Nicholas Lane, Upper Mayne Roundabout, Upper Mayne, Burches Roundabout, Burches, Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Noak Hill Road, South Wash Road, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From Noak Hill Road A127 Eastbound and vice versa.

Clay Hill Road in Vange will be closed from its junction with Southernhay for a distance of about 60m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to start on October 26 for one night (10.30pm to 4.30am) while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Clay Hill Road, Timberlog Lane, Mopsies Roundabout, Broadmayne, Southernhay and vice versa.

Heideburg Road on Canvey will be closed from its junction with Nevada Road on October 23 for five days while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Brandenburg Road, Corona Road, Nevada Road and vice versa (with access only into Heideburg Road).

Hillside Road in Billericay will be closed from its junction with Chapel Street to its junction with Langemore Way on October 23 for five days.

This is while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Chapel Street, Sun Street, Southend Road, Bell Hill Roundabout, Southend Road, Outwood Common Road, Greens Farm Lane, Meadow Rise and vice versa.

Old Ship Lane, in Rochford, is closing from its junction with East Street to its junction with North Street on October 29 for one day while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via East Street, North Street.

The bus lane in London Road, Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet, is closing on October 9 from a point 320m northeast of its junction with Pound Lane for a distance of 65m in a northeasterly direction.

The restriction will be in place for 19 days/nights - from 8am to 6pm and from 8pm to 5am - while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

Thynne Road, Billericay, will be shut from its junction with Green Farm Lane for a distance of 30m in a northeasterly direction on October 23 for one day.

This is while sewer and cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Mons Avenue, Greenway, Outwood Common Road, Hillway, Meadow Rise, Greens Farm Lane and vice versa (with access only into Thynne Road).

Rippleside, in Barstable, is closing from its junction with Stublands for a distance of about 25m in a southeasterly then southerly direction.

The one way in that length of Rippleside, from its northerly junction with Elsenham Crescent to its southerly junction with Elsenham Crescent, will be suspended.

And the one way in that length of Elsenham Crescent, from its southerly junction with Rippleside to its northerly junction with Rippleside, will also be suspended.

The closure and restrictions start on October 23 for three days while ducting works are undertaken by Virgin Media. An alternative route is available via Rippleside, Elsenham Crescent and vice versa (with access only into Rippleside).
