Biker killed in Staffordshire crash named as 23-year-old with ‘zest for …

A motorcyclist who died in a crash in Staffordshire this week has been named. Sam Bagley, aged 23, was riding his motorbike on Wellington Road in Burton yesterday, Thursday, October 5 when he was involved in a collision with a lorry just before 6am.

Emergency services attended the scene. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene the same morning.

Now his family has paid tribute to him, saying he had a ‘real zest for life’. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing by officers from Staffordshire Police.

In a statement, Sam’s family said: “Sam was a loving fiancé, brother and son; always up for anything with a real zest for life. There are no words, all our hearts hurt.”

A spokesperson from Staffordshire police said: “We continue to investigate the circumstances around the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or those with CCTV and dashcam footage from the area, to contact us.
