A3, M25 and M23 overnight closures to look out for this week in Surrey
Closures along the M25, M23 and A3 could cause major disruptions for drivers this week. Certain routes, slip roads and carriageways will be shut overnight, and which means drivers may need to amend their journeys before heading out.
Those who are heading away from Heathrow may need to take alternative routes, and those who are trying to access other motorways, including the M3 and the M4. The M23 closures could also impact those heading north from Gatwick airport[1], back into Surrey.
A3 closures at Milford, and between Wisley and Send in both directions due to the motorway upgrade are ongoing, and will be throughout most of the week. Closures generally take place from around 9pm onwards and don’t reopen till as late as 8am the next morning.
Monday
A3 closure northbound at the Milford entry and exit slip roads. Closure in place from 9pm to 6am the following morning.
A3 closure southbound from Wisley to Send. Closure in place from 9pm to 5.30am the following morning.
M23 northbound junction 8 to M25[2] clockwise junction 7, the link road and carriageway will be closed. Closure in place from 10pm to 5.30am the following morning.
M25 anticlockwise closure between junction 6 in Caterham[3] and 5 in Sevenoaks at the entry and exit slip roads. Closure in place from 10pm to 5.30am the following morning.
M25 closure clockwise between junctions 14 at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and 15 at Heahtrow’s Terminal 2 and 3, and the link to the M4. Closure in place from 10pm to 5.30am the following morning.
M3 closure in both directions from Fleet Services to Bagshot. Closure in place from 9pm to 6am the following morning.
Tuesday
A3 closure northbound from Compton to the Dennis roundabout at entry and exit slip roads in Guildford[4]. Closure in place from 9pm to 6am the following morning.
A3 closure northbound at the Hoggs back entry and exit slip road. Closure in place from 9pm to 6am the following morning.
A3 closure southbound from Wisley to Send. Closure in place from 10pm to 5.30am the following morning.
