A14 lorry crash closes lane causing 20-minute delays
A crash between two lorries has caused a closure on the A14 this evening (Monday). Emergency services are on the scene of the incident as of 5.30pm.
The eastbound carriageway has a lane closure in place from Junction 35 A1303 Newmarket Road for Stow Cum Quy to Junction 36 A11 for Nine Mile Hill.
Fire engines from Cambridge, Cottenham, and Newmarket are reported to be at the scene. Traffic monitoring system Inrix said that the incident was first reported at 4.38pm.
In an update, it said: "Lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident, two lorries involved on A14 Eastbound from J35 A1303 Newmarket Road (Stow Cum Quy) to J36 A11 (Nine Mile Hill)."
