A14 crash near Stow-Cum-Quy involving three lorries saw …

Firefighters cut a person free following a three-lorry crash on a major Cambs road. Emergency services were called to the A14 eastbound near Stow-Cum-Quy shortly after 4pm on Monday, October 23.

Fire crews used specialist equipment to free the trapped person. Emergency services spent around two hours at the scene.

A Cambridgeshire[1] Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At 4.19pm on Monday (23) crews from Cambridge, Cottenham and Newmarket[2] ( Suffolk[3] Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a road traffic collision on A14[4] Eastbound near Stow-Cum-Quy.

“Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving three HGVs. Using specialist equipment firefighters released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews. Crews returned to their stations by 6.10pm.”
