Urgent 999 appeal for missing 74-year-old man from Hartcliffe

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing elderly man in Bristol. Avon and Somerset Police said Michael, 74, has been reported missing from his home in the Hartcliffe[1] area of the city.

He was last seen between 6pm and 7pm yesterday (September 10). Michael was reported missing this morning.

The force[2] said it is believed Michael was wearing a blue top and possibly black trousers when he went missing. He is described by police as white, of slim build and has grey hair.

A police statement added: "It is not believed Michael has access to money and therefore is probably on foot. He also may appear confused."

Anyone who sees Michael or knows of his whereabouts has been asked to call 999 and quote reference number 5223220506. People can also call 101 with information.
