Londoners travelling into the capital this weekend could be faced with disruption due to closures on TfL services.

Here is the full list of planned TfL service changes this weekend, September 29 to October 1.
London Underground
Piccadilly line
Saturday September 30
No Friday Night Tube service between Hammersmith and Heathrow from 0.45am until 4.30am.
Use Night Bus routes or 24-hour bus routes. A rail replacement bus service will run every 20 minutes.
Saturday September 30 and Sunday October 1
No service between Acton Town and Heathrow, including Saturday Night Tube
Use alternative Tube and rail services, or local or rail replacement bus routes. Customers travelling between central London and Heathrow should use Elizabeth line services to/from Paddington.
A rail replacement bus service will run every 10 minutes during the day between Acton Town and Heathrow Terminal 5, and direct between Hammersmith Bus Station and Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3.
Night Tube customers should use Night Bus routes or 24-hour bus routes. A rail replacement bus service will run every 20 minutes.
London Overground
Saturday September 30 and Sunday October 1
No service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction from 7.30pm on Saturday until 12.30pm on Sunday
Use alternative rail services or local bus routes. Southern Railway services will only run between Clapham Junction and Shepherd’s Bush. This is due to Network Rail works.
Sunday October 1
No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction
A rail replacement bus service will run every 30 minutes. This is due to Network Rail works.
No service between Sydenham and West Croydon until 8am.
Use local bus or tram routes. The first through train from Highbury & Islington will be at 7.49am, and from West Croydon to Highbury & Islington at 8.18am. This is due to Network Rail works.

Sunday 1 to Thursday October 5
No service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 10.45pm each night
Use alternative Tube services or the rail replacement bus service, which will run every 20 minutes on Sunday after 10.45pm, and every 15 minutes from Monday to Thursday after 10.45pm each night. This is due to Network Rail works.

Friday September 29
Blackwall Tunnel
The Black Magic Taxi Tour will be taking place from 7am until 8.30am, where taxis will be travelling through the Blackwall Tunnel. Increased traffic is expected.
The O2, North Greenwich
The O2 will be hosting New Order in concert from 6pm until 11.30pm. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected.
Central London area
The Maggie’s London Night Hike will be taking place in the central London area from 7pm on Friday until 4am the following morning. Large crowds are expected.
Saturday September 30
Swain’s Lane, Highgate
The Urban Hill Climb will be taking place from 7am until 8pm on Swain’s Lane. Road closures and diversions will be in place for the event. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected.
A202, Harleyford Street
From 7am until 11pm on Saturday September 30, Harleyford Street will be closed in both directions for a crane operation at the junction of A3 Kennington Park Road.
Central London area
The Walk for humanity London charity walk will be taking place from 10.30am until 5pm, starting and finishing in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. Large crowds are expected.
A demonstration will be taking place at Europe House from 11am until 4.30pm. Large crowds are expected.
Trafalgar Square
Demonstrations will be taking place between 1pm and 6pm in Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.
The O2, North Greenwich
A R Rahman will be in concert at the O2 from 6pm until 11.30pm. Increased traffic and large crowds are expected.
From Saturday September 30 until Sunday October 1
A40, St Giles High Street
From 8am on Saturday September 30 until 6pm on Sunday October 1, St Giles High Street will be closed in both directions at the junction of A401 Shaftesbury Avenue for resurfacing works.
Southbound Blackwall Tunnel weekend closures
Blackwall Tunnel will be closed to southbound traffic, through to the junction with Blackwall Lane on the following dates:
From 0.01am on Saturday September 30 until 5am on Monday October 2.
From 0.01am on Saturday October 7 until 5am on Monday October 9.
The tunnel will remain open to northbound traffic. To travel southbound, plan ahead, check before you travel, use alternative river crossings and allow more time for your journey. To help you cross the river, the Woolwich Ferry will operate every 15-20 minutes between 7am and 6pm this weekend.
From 10pm on Friday September 29 until approximately midnight on Sunday October 1, and from 10pm on Friday October 6 until approximately midnight on Sunday October 8, bus route 108 will not cross the river and instead will operate as two services, starting/terminating at Canning Town and North Greenwich. Use the Jubilee line to cross the river.
From approximately midnight on Sundays 1 and October 8, northbound buses will return to their normal route. Southbound buses will be diverted via Tower Bridge until the tunnel is reopened to southbound traffic on Mondays 2 and October 9.
Overnight closures may also be required between Monday 2 and Friday October 6 between 11pm and 5am the next day. If these closures take place, southbound buses will be diverted via Tower Bridge from 10pm until the tunnel is reopened to southbound traffic the following morning.
A501, Old Street Junction
From Saturday September 30 to Monday October 2, there will be a northbound lane closure on City Road and a westbound lane closure on Old Street.
From Saturday September 30 until Sunday October 29
A40, New Bridge Street (City of London)
From 0.01am on Saturday September 30 until 11.59pm on Sunday October 29, New Bridge Street will be closed southbound for a crane operation at the junction of Queen Victoria Street.
Sunday October 1
Tower Bridge
Filming will be taking place from 6am until 9am on Tower Bridge. There will be traffic holds in place for the event. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected.
Trafalgar Square
The Japan Matsuri event will be taking place from 10am until 8pm in Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.
Central London area
The Palace to Palace bike ride will be taking place from 6.30am until 1pm, starting at The Mall and finishing at Windsor Castle. Large crowds are expected.
A demonstration will be taking place from 10am until 5pm, starting in Downing Street and ending in Pall Mall Street. Large crowds are expected.
A demonstration will be taking place from 11am until 2pm, starting in Richmond Terrace and ending in Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.
A demonstration will be taking place from 2.45pm until 5.30pm, starting in Trafalgar Square and ending in Portland Place. Large crowds are expected.
Wembley Stadium
The Falcons will face the Jaguars in an American football match at Wembley Stadium from 2pm until 8pm. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected.
A1, Holloway Road
Until Monday October 2, Holloway Road will be closed in both directions between A103 Hornsey Road and Hornsey Street for carriageway maintenance and a kerb installation.
A5, Edgware Road
Until 6pm on Saturday October 7, lanes two and three on Edgware Road (northbound) will be closed at the junction of A4205 Praed Street for Thames Water works.
A23/A232, Epsom Road
Until 5am on Tuesday October 10, Epsom Road will be closed in both directions between Purley Way and Duppas Hill Road for carriageway maintenance and works.
A501/A4201, Marylebone Road and Park Square West
Until 7pm on Sunday November 5, Marylebone Road will be closed eastbound (lanes one and two of four) between its junction with Park Square West for Thames Water works.
A316 Manor Circus, Richmond
Until Spring 2024, there will be a series of lane closures and traffic management affecting each arm of the A316 Manor Circus roundabout. This is while we carry out essential maintenance works. To reduce disruption, works will take place on each arm separately with the most impactful works expected to be completed by December 2023.
