Suspect named after woman attacked by man who broke into her …
A man broke into a woman’s home and attacked her after making threats.
Merseyside Police[1] were called to a home in Prescot[2] at around midnight on Monday, September 4 following reports of a disturbance. It was reported to police a man was making threats at a woman inside her house.
The man then broke into the house and caused damage to the property before he attacked a woman who tried to stop him. Jamie Renshall, 37, of Johnson Avenue in Prescot[3] has been charged with a number of offences.
He has been remanded into custody and appeared at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court on Wednesday, September 27. The case has been sent to Liverpool Crown Court.
