Single vehicle crash with parked car leaves man in hospital with …

A Peterborough man has been left in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Tuesday morning (September 19). The crash involved one vehicle which crashed into another parked car with enough force to flip it onto its roof.
The man, in his sixties, was rushed to hospital following the incident in Newark Avenue, Peterborough[1] at around 9.10am. No one else was involved in the collision.
The injured man drove a red Kia Stonic and struck a parked Volkswagen Golf. The road was closed for some time while the vehicle was recovered.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw what took place just before it. Those with information can call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the road policing unit, quoting incident 87 from September 19.
