Popular Cambridge caf? closes ‘with great sadness’ after nine years

A Cambridge café has closed after nine years. The East Road branch of Espresso Library had a sign in its window on Thursday (September 7) informing customers that it had closed.

The closure will be permanent, according to the sign. The St Andrew's Street branch will remain open.

The sign said: "To our dear friends and loyal customers, it is with great sadness that, after nine years, we have had to close Espresso Library. This closure will sadly be permanent."

It went on to say: "We will still be around in our store on St Andrew's Street for the time being. We would really appreciate if you popped by to say hello and offer your support."
