Police probe as two arrested after crash following car key burglary
Two people have been arrested after a vehicle was stolen in a car key burglary at a house in Walsall[1]. Cash, a car and possessions including jewellery and a TV were taken from the home in Pelsall shortly before 6.30am.
West Midlands Police[2] said shortly after the break-in there was a collision on Well Lane, Bloxwich. The force[3] said ‘officers responded quickly’ and made two arrests.
Two men, aged 45 and 37, were both taken into custody on suspicion of the burglary of a dwelling.
A spokesperson for the force[5] said: “We have arrested two men after a vehicle was stolen in a car key burglary from an address in Walsall.
“A car and possessions including cash, jewellery and TV were stolen from an address in Pelsall shortly before 6.30am after offenders broke into the home.
“Shortly after there was a collision on Well Lane, Bloxwich. Officers responded quickly and arrested two men.
