Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision[1] in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Officers, paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance were called to Leek Road, Longnor, just before 12.20pm on Friday, September 8.
A grey Nissan Qashqai and a red BMW motorbike were involved in a collision. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
A man and a woman from the Qashqai were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.

Police say they are keen to trace a possible witness to the collision – the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta which was being driven in the direction of the A53, towards the Winking Man pub.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or those with CCTV and dashcam footage from the area are asked to get in touch with Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 319 of 8 September, or message them using Live Chat on their website – www.staffordshire.police.uk[3][4]
