Merseyside Police car bursts into flames after crash

A police car burst into flames after a reported crash outside a pub.
Woodchurch Road, Prenton, is currently cordoned off by police after a patrol car went up in flames earlier tonight, Friday September 8. Videos on social media show the Merseyside Police patrol car up in flames as people watch on from outside the Halfway House pub.
Eyewitnesses told the ECHO at the scene that the police car was involved in a crash with another car and hit a bollard before catching fire.
