Live Southeastern updates as power failure disrupts Rochester …

Southeastern[1] train services between Rochester[2] and Bromley[3] South have been disrupted by power failure this morning. Services may be cancelled, delayed or changed, said Southeastern.

And this has also caused Sheerness[4]-on-Sea line services to be stopped, as train crews have been switched to help running services via Sole Street, because of the power supply issue near Farningham Road.

The disruption is now expected to continue until noon, said the train company. Network Rail’s teams are on site investigating the causes of the outtage.

Trains from via the Medway[5] towns towards London St Pancras International may also be delayed, with trains queuing towards Rochester. Follow our live blog feed below for more details.
