LIVE: M6 gridlocked in Cheshire as police close lane after crash
Police have closed a lane on a busy stretch of the M6 after a crash in Cheshire. The southbound side of the motorway is reportedly gridlocked
The accident has happened between juntions 18 and 19, for Middlewich/Holmes Chapel[1] and Knutsford[2], respectively, and is causing significant delays, it is being reported.
The accident is being reported by traffic updates service Inrix. Inrix says: "One lane closed and slow traffic due to accident on M6[3] Southbound from J19 A556 ( Knutsford ) to J18 A54 Middlewich Road (Middlewich / Holmes Chapel)."
