Members of the ASLEF union will also stage action short of strike in the form of an overtime ban on Friday, September 29 and from Monday, October 2 until Friday, October 6, excluding Wednesday, October 4. This is set to hit services on the line that links Nuneaton, Bermuda, Bedworth[3], the CBS Arena, Coventry and Leamington.
This will mean that no train services will run and bus rail replacements will be in place on t he following days:
- Friday, September 29.
- Between Monday, October 2 and Friday 6 October (excluding Wednesday, October 4).
A normal timetable will be in operation on Sunday , October 1. Speaking about the changes, Jonny Wiseman, WMR customer experience director, said: “It is disappointing that industrial action is continuing to affect passengers’ journeys.
“Passengers will need to find alternative modes of transport on Saturday 30 September and Wednesday 4 October as no WMR services will be in operation. Passengers should also check their journeys before setting out on days when action short of strike is taking place as journeys may be subject to short-notice cancellation.
“Anyone holding a ticket for travel on a strike day can use their ticket on a different day or claim a full refund.”
