Edinburgh police find luxury SUV stolen from family home dumped …

Following Police Scotland’s previous appeal to trace two stolen cars on Mill Road, Stow, police[1] have sent out a further appeal after one of the vehicles was traced in Edinburgh.

Two cars were stolen in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday[2], August 30.

It is understood the suspects broke into the house in Mill Road and retrieved the keys to a white Audi and a white Volvo before making off from the scene.

The incident is believed to have occurred at some point between 3am and 4.30am, with the vehicles seen on CCTV shortly after driving northbound on the A7.

Since then, the Volvo XC60 was traced in a car park in the Granton area of Edinburgh by road policing officers on Saturday, 9 September, with police appealing for more information from those within the area.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing into this incident and we would re-appeal to anyone with information that may assist us to contact 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 0441 of Wednesday, 30 August, 2023.
