Motorists travelling[1] on the A68 by Fala Village[2] have been warned to expect severe disruptions after a crash involving multiple vehicles.
The incident is understood to have taken place at around 4.50pm on Wednesday, September 10 on the busy commuter road.
Rush hour travellers making their way to and from Edinburgh have been warned that they could experience delays due to the collision.
Traffic Scotland shared on their X page that traffic was impacted in both directions and motorists could expect to be delayed by around 10 minutes.
They said: “Restricted in both directions due to a multi vehicle collision. Traffic picking up in both directions with Approx.10 minute delay.”

The A68 is a well used road by those commuting to Edinburgh and for those travelling in the direction of Midlothian and the Scottish Borders.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4pm on Wednesday, 6 September, 2023, police received a report of a three-vehicle crash on the A68 Fala Road, in the Pathhead area.
"The road was cleared by 5pm and one motorist was charged in connection with a road traffic offence.”
