A cyclist[1] collided with a lorry on Friday afternoon (September 22), causing the cyclist to be taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police[2] were called to the incident on the junction of Clarendon Street and Parker Street in the city centre at around 4.48pm yesterday.
Nobody else was injured in the crash. An onlooker told CambridgeshireLive that the road was blocked off and an ambulance was spotted on the scene.
Just last month, a motorcyclist was left fighting for his life[5] in Addenbrooke’s Hospital after a crash. This incident took place near St Neots[6] on August 24.
