Car stolen outside Waitrose with child’s medical equipment inside
A car was stolen outside a Waitrose store which contained a child’s important medical equipment. Police issued an image of a man they want to trace in connection with the incident.
Police said a grey Ford Focus was stolen while the owner was inside a nearby supermarket on Homer Road, Solihull[1]. The car had splints and other medical equipment for a child inside.
It was taken at around 6pm on Saturday, September 2. Police inquiries are ongoing.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Solihull Police posted: “#APPEAL | Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him after a car containing medical equipment for a child was stolen in #Solihull earlier this month.
“Just after 6pm on Saturday 2 September, a grey Ford Focus was stolen from Homer Road, Solihull[4], while the owner was inside the nearby Waitrose store. The car contained splints and other medical equipment for a child. Think you can help? If so, please call 101 or use Live Chat on our website quoting the crime 20/765885/23.”
