Caf? and car meet up hotspot to open on site of former Beds pub

A new hotspot for motoring enthusiasts is set to open in Bedfordshire this Autumn, the latest site owned by Caffeine & Machine, bringing together lovers of cars, bikes and other automobiles.

Located on the B530, close to Ampthill, Caffeine & Machine: The Bowl will launch this autumn, joining Warwickshire’s The Hill as the second in what will be a series of meeting places for automotive enthusiasts from all walks of life. Caffeine & Machine's locations also offer classic roadside diner-style food and drink, with a modern twist.

Located in the site of a former pub in Houghton Conquest, The Bowl brings the brand and everything it offers within easier reach of London than ever before. Caffeine & Machine hope it can be another flagship destination for motoring enthusiasts from the rest of the country and beyond.

The site will formally open to the public on Thursday, September 14. To begin with, tickets for The Bowl will be bookable seven days a week, with customers encouraged to book in advance in order to secure their spot.

Speaking on the new location, Caffeine & Machine founder and director, Phil McGovern, said: "I’m blown away that Caffeine & Machine has resonated with the automotive community to the level that it has since we opened our first location back in 2018.

"The growth of the brand and the support we’ve had from both our community and the one in which we sit has been humbling, and I’m incredibly excited to see it continue with a new site. We hope this adventure will be long and interesting, and that we’ll be joined by the Cult of Machine along the way. We’ve only just started to scratch the surface."

The brand are currently hiring for a variety of new roles at The Bowl. For more information, including job vacancies, visit the Caffeine & Machine website.[2]
