Boy in serious condition after being hit by car as he crossed …

A young boy has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a collision in Coventry[1]. It happened on Charter Avenue in Canley[2].

Police were called to the scene of the collision at around 4.15pm on Friday, September 8. A 13-year-old boy was hit by a car as he crossed the road.

He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital, said West Midlands Police[3]. Anyone who witnessed the collision has been asked to call 101.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police[5] said: “We were called to Charter Avenue, Coventry[6] at around 4.15pm on Friday (September 8), to reports of a collision. A 13-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car as he crossed the road.
