A120 crash leaves motorcyclist dead as road remains closed …

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on a major Essex A-road. Police and paramedics were called to the A120 near the junction with Primrose Lane, between Ramsey and Wix, at around 1.45pm on Sunday (September 10) following the crash, which involved the motorbike and a car.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Essex Police said his family has been informed and are being given support.

The road remains closed in both directions between Horsley Road and Ramsey Roundabout. Diversions are in place but motorists are being urged to avoid the area due to heavy traffic.
