Warnings of ‘unavoidable’ noise as Botley Road working hours …

The working hours of the Botley Road project have been extended - and will shift to 24-hours-a-day from next month - to gain back time after the discovery of a historic bridge under the road.

Since August 14, the working hours have been 7am to 7pm, seven days a week, and from September 2, work will take place day and night.

Network Rail warned that noise would be “unavoidable”.
