Vulnerable man, 80, missing from his Epsom home

A vulnerable 80-year-old man has gone missing from his home in Epsom[1]. Simon left his home at 8am on Wednesday (August 23) and hasn’t been seen since.

Simon lives with dementia and police say they are growing concerned for his welfare. He is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, and with dark grey hair, but balding.

Officers have released a description of what he was wearing in a release below. They ask anyone who believes they have seen him to get in touch.

Surrey Police[3] said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in finding 80-year-old Simon, who has gone missing from his home in Epsom[4]. Simon left his house at 6am this morning and has not returned since.

“He has dementia and we are concerned for his welfare. Simon is described as a White man about 5’5” in height with dark grey hair that is starting to go bald.

“He was wearing a light blue cap, grey zip up jacket, beige trousers, and black trainers. If you see Simon or have any information that might help us find him, please get in touch quoting CAD 0246 of 23 August via:
