Two people were rushed to hospital after a car flipped on its roof in Fife[1].

Emergency crews scrambled to Standing Stane Road in Kirkcaldy, after receiving reports of a two-vehicle crash at 6.35am on Tuesday, August 22.

Medics[2] attended and the drivers of both of the cars, a 25-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man, were taken to hospital by ambulance. The road was closed while recovery took place and reopened at 8am.

Their current conditions are unknown.

As the Record[4] reports, the man was also issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with an alleged road traffic offence.
