Tragedy as Bradford man, 35, dies in motorway crash near …

A driver from West Yorkshire has died following a collision on the M27 near Southampton.

The Bradford[1] man, 35, was driving a BMW 330E that collided with a Ford Fiesta and the central reservation barrier before it left the road and collided with the nearside verge.

The collision happened between junction 2 and 3 on the westbound carriageway on Friday afternoon.

A spokesman for Hampshire Police said: “Despite the best efforts of emergency services and members of the public who stopped to help, the driver, a 35-year-old man from Bradford, was pronounced dead. His family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers.”

The M27 was closed between junction 3 and 4 for around four hours as officers carried out investigations. Police are seeing witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
