Tragedy as body of man discovered in woodland

The body of a man has been found in woodland near Llandudno[1] Junction. The tragic discovery was made after reports of "concerns for the safety" of a person on Thursday.

Police were called and the force confirmed a body was found. The coroner has been informed and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A North Wales Police[2] spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.37am yesterday (Thursday) to a concern for safety in the Marl Woods area of Llandudno Junction[3]. Sadly, the body of a man was discovered.

"The death is being treated as non-suspicious, and the local Coroner’s Office has been informed." Forensic officers were reported in the area at Bryn Pydew following the discovery.
