Thief breaks into luxury Range Rover Sport parked on city road

A luxury car was broken into in a Birmingham[1] street, prompting police to issue a CCTV appeal. A thief broke into a Range Rover Sport in Wellesbourne Road in Handsworth[2] on Monday, July 17 early in the morning at around 5.20am.

Once inside the thief stole cash from the car before feeling the scene. Now West Midlands Police[3] has issued am image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The man is white with a beard and dark brown hair. He is pictured wearing a white hoodie and a puffer-style black coat.

In issuing the appeal, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Do you know this man? We want to speak to him after cash was stolen from a Range Rover Sport in #Birmingham.

“The incident happened on 17 July just after 5.20am on Wellesbourne Road. If you have any information that could help us with our enquiries then please get in touch via Live Chat on our website or call 101 quoting crime reference number 20/620435/23.”
