Scottish teenager fighting for his life following horror crash on busy …

A teenager has been left fighting for his life after a horrific two-vehicle collision[1] on a Scottish road.

Officers[2] in Fife have confirmed that a 14-year-old passenger has sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Ninewells Hospital by Scottish Ambulance Service personnel.

Emergency crews raced to the scene of the incident that involved a grey Peugeot 207 and a white VW Polo on the A914 near to the Forgan roundabout in Fife at around 6.50pm on Friday August 18, the Daily Record reports.[3]

The driver of the car, an 18-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Volkswagen driver, a 35-year-old man, was checked at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service but required no further treatment.

The road was closed for around seven hours after the crash but it re-opened at around 2am on Saturday.

Cops have launched a probe into the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.

Sergeant Paul Ewing said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash and we are appealing for witnesses.

“If you were in the area around the time and saw what happened then please get in touch as your information could be important.
