Road closed and officers taken to hospital after police car crash

Two police officers were taken to hospital after their car crashed while responding to an incident.

A Merseyside Police[1] car was involved in a crash on Dinmore Road in Wallasey[2] at around 12.30pm on Thursday (August 10). Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed.

Two officers inside the vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries. A picture from the scene shows damage sustained to the front of a police car, with debris littered on the road.
