Police searching for man who disappeared from his home overnight

Police are searching for a man who disappeared from his home overnight.

Colin Edge, from the Morpeth^[1] area of Northumberland^[2], was reported missing^[3] earlier on Monday. The 58-year-old left his family home overnight and has not been heard from since.

His family and police are now growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Officers have been carrying out extensive searches to locate him and are now appealing to the public for their help.

Colin is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a checked shirt and work boots.
