Police investigating fatal crash that killed young bus driver issue …
The public is being asked to come forward if they have any information which may help Police Scotland[1] with their probe into a fatal crash on the A77.
The horror crash claimed the life of 23-year-old Stagecoach bus driver Gordon Stirling[2] after his vehicle collided with a van on Monday evening.
Gordon, from Ayrshire, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the crash near Fenwick.
However, the Crosshouse driver passed away at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow on Saturday, Ayrshire Live[3] reports.
Police Scotland[5] confirmed today that the 42-year-old driver of the white Ford Transit is reportedly in a serious but stable condition.
Inspector Craig Beaver of Ayrshires Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Stirling at what is a very difficult time for them.
“Our investigation into the circumstances of the crash are continuing. I would ask anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, who has not already spoken to officers to please get in touch.
