Petrasco backs emerging talent in Tartan Pro Tour
A leading provider of international logistics solutions to the energy industry, Petrasco, is supporting the next generation of golfing talent after announcing its sponsorship of the Tartan Pro Tour.
The Aberdeen-headquartered company is backing the Leven Links Classic as part of the Scottish-based development tour, which attracts up-and-coming male and female golfers from across the UK.
The event, which takes place between August 21-23 in Fife, will be played over 54 holes across three days on a challenging par 70 traditional links.
Founded by 1999 Open Champion, Paul Lawrie, the Tartan Pro Tour provides tournament playing experience to challenge players over some of the country’s best courses. The tour aims to provide a stepping-stone for aspiring tournament professionals to reach the highest levels of competition, including the European Tour.
Petrasco is backing this year’s tour to help ensure the event’s success as part of the company’s commitment to sport and supporting the next generation of talent.

One of Scotland’s oldest golf courses, dating back to the mid-19th century, Leven is believed to be the first course in the world to feature 18 tees and 18 separate greens. A six-time Open Championship final qualifying venue, Leven continues to host leading amateur events and international matches.
