Moped rider injured after crash with car at Holderness Road junction

A moped rider has been injured, following a crash at a Holderness Road junction this morning.

The moped, which was also carrying a passenger, was reported to have been travelling down the east Hull road when it was in collision with a car turning into Sherburn Street. Emergency services were called to the side street at 11.43am and two ambulances were spotted at the scene.

Witnesses reported the moped being significantly damaged and a motorcycle helmet was seen rolling down the street. A man in the area reported that a young man was stretchered away after the incident.
