Men seriously hurt as triple stabbing alert sparks massive …
Three men have been hurt, two left with “serious injuries” following a city stabbing. 999 workers including a trauma doctor and air ambulance flooded Broom Hall Crescent in Acocks Green[1] on the evening of Thursday August 3.
West Midlands Ambulance[2] say they were called to reports of a stabbing on the crescent just after 7pm. Upon arrival medics found three men, two with serious injuries, and the third had sustained potentially serious injuries.
All three were taken to hospital for treatment. We have asked West Midlands Police[3] for an arrest update on the incident.
Residents reported Broom Hall Crescent being “full of cop cars” last night and footage shared from the scene showed a heavy emergency service presence.
Broom Hall Crescent is a large residential road in Acocks Green that circles around Gospel Farm Road. A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson confirmed three men were hurt following reports of a stabbing.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at just after 7pm to reports of a stabbing on Broom Hall Crescent in Acocks Green, Birmingham.
“Three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic, and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene. Upon arrival we found three men.
“The first two had sustained serious injuries. They received advanced trauma care at the scene from ambulance staff. The third man had sustained potentially serious injuries. He received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene. All three were conveyed to hospital for further treatment.”
West Midlands Police has been approached for comment.
