Part of a major motorway is blocked due to an incident.
The M74 is currently blocked in one lane southbound following a collision near junction 1 Kingston interchange.
Recovery teams and emergency services are on the scene.
Cops confirmed that they had been called to a crash involving three vehicles.
A Police Scotland[1] spokesperson said: "Around 7.50am on Monday, August 7, 2023 officers were made aware of a three-vehicle crash on the M74 junction 1 southbound.
"Emergency services are in attendance."
