Luxury supercars damaged after transporter overturns on A20
Video footage has shown the aftermath of a crash in which a transporter carrying luxury supercars overturned. Officers from Kent Police[1] were called to the scene on the A20[2] near Brands Hatch shortly before 8pm yesterday (August 23).
The footage shows the lorry cab and the car transporter trailer both on their sides, blocking the road. Numerous high-end and luxury cars can be seen on the transporter trailer including Mercedes, Audi, Aston Martin and Lamborghini models.
One car can even be seen to have left the transport trailer completely, having ended on its roof in the middle of the road. Police said "a minor injury" was reported at the scene.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 7.57pm on Wednesday to a report that a car transporter had overturned on the A20 near Farningham. Officers attended the scene where the driver reported a minor injury.
“The road was closed while arrangements were made to recover the vehicles.” The road closure was managed by KCC Highways and has since been lifted.
