Lorry and car crash at Colne Bank Avenue roundabout | Gazette

The Gazette understands a car and lorry collided close to the Colne Bank Avenue roundabout this morning. 

It has caused long delays in the area. 

Traffic has built up on Cymbeline Way, Colne Bank Avenue and Cowdray Avenue. 

The knock on traffic has led to a build up of queues at the North Station roundabout, Mile End Road and Bergholt Road. 

A witness told the Gazette the queues were stopping cars from driving down Westway and residents of Rotary Way were unable to get to their homes.

The AA traffic update said: "Reports ofqueueing traffic and traffic problem on A134 Westway both ways around Colne Bank roundabout.

"Causing delays on all approaches to the roundabout."
