Two injured in crash on motorway roundabout
Two people were injured in a serious crash yesterday, August 1, on a roundabout connecting the M4 with the A4232.
The crash involved a car and a lorry and happened on the roundabout at junction 33 and shut the southbound side heading into Cardiff. It also brought traffic to a standstill on the northbound side which tailed right back to Culverhouse Cross and briefly to Leckwith.
Two people are reported to be injured, with one person taken to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, and the vehicles were removed by 4.19pm. The collision, which happened at 2.30pm, caused severe congestion northbound which finally cleared at 6pm.
