Recap: A4 reopens in Avonmouth after lorry flips on roundabout

Two lanes were closed on the A4 in Avonmouth this afternoon (August 31). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, a lorry overturned on the route.

The crash is said to have taken place at the Saint Brendan’s Roundabout, close to the M5 junction, at around 1.40pm. The road reopened and traffic returned to normal shortly before 6pm.

Inrix says: “All lanes open, overturned lorry removed on A4 Crowley Way at Saint Brendans Roundabout..”
